Lord, Your Word asks, “Who among you fears the Lord and obeys the word of his servant?” Your Word then exhorts, “Let him who walks in the dark, who has no light, trust in the name of the Lord and rely on his God” (Isa. 50:10). Father, I desire to trust in the name of my Lord and rely on You, my God, even when walking through dark times.

My struggle is not against flesh and blood but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world, and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms (Eph. 6:12). I must not be naïve and deny how much Satan desires to take control of this season of my life. Help me to stand firm against attacks!
